This wedding just had to be outside. It was the dream, the vision and always the plan. There was a morning full of showers and a lot of wiping down guest’s chairs during the set up for Jessica and Dermot’s wedding at Ballinacurra house in Kinsale, Co Cork last June and we said we’d wait it out for a little while if we had to {and we really did have to!} but right on cue – well about 10 minutes late, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and the sun shone right on cue. It really did dry up all of the rain!
Jessica and Dermot came back home to Ireland from Canada for their wedding to be surrounded by family and friends. The fabulous Poppies & Me captured all of the love and joy.
Jessica’s bouquet was a dream. Super soft and fluffy peonies in white to blush to coral shades with David Austin roses and eucalyptus leaves.
All of the flowers were by Daisy Chain Florist in Kinsale who got it just right.
A combination of long tables and rounds suited the dining space at Ballinacurra wonderfully and the overflowing pale flowers with peach candles, silver and teal accents were simply striking.
Thanks go to Jessica’s makeup artist, Laura Kay, hairdresser Susi Parks and celebrant Tom Farrell from Spiritual Ceremonies absolutely completed the day. The Panoramics entertained the guests in the sunshine and after dinner.
Super big thanks again for the beautiful images and laughs to Poppies & Me.
A great day was had by all!
