Erin and Ryan really wanted a seaside wedding for their wedding of family and friends in Ireland. They noted the Galway coast as their first choice for location. Immediately I thought of Screebe House in Connemara which is an elegant manor house perfect for a somewhat more intimate or family wedding.
This destination wedding was planned for about 70 guests and Erin and I planned for a relaxed but elegant day with clean botanical feel. Greens and whites, natural elements and textures surrounded the day as the outside surrounded the venue.
We also quickly decided that Egle from White Cat studio would be their perfect photographer. She was. Now you can see what the day was like. Thanks Egle!!
The invitation set was styled beautifully to reflect the clean elegant feel.
I love when a father sees his daughter for the first time all dressed and ready!
Once ready, Erin and Ryan had their first look with each other privately on the venues own pier
A bag piper HAD to be part of the plan as a nod to Ryan’s Scottish heritage.
We bused the guests in for the waterfront ceremony which was performed by the bride’s brother.
The couple headed out with Egle to the wilds of Connemara for their photo shoot. Gorgeous and snuggly in the rustic rugged scenery.
More thanks go to our other supporting suppliers, Madden’s florist, Goya’s Bakery, Sarah Duffy Makeup, Natalie O’Brien Hair , The Buachaill’s band had them dancing into the night and, of course, the staff at the beautiful Screebe House.
